What is Core and Stretch?

A floor-based class that will help increase core strength, improve mobility of joints and increase your flexibility. This class will utilise the elements of pilates core work and Yoga to create a low impact and challenging work out for all levels of fitness. Perfect for those looking to improve alignment, strength and mobility, and for dancers working on progressing overall improvements.

The class will consist of a range of low impact yoga-based stretches and dance conditioning inspired exercises to elongate and shape muscles, whilst helping you to achieve more flexibility, better extension and alignment in the body. A class that focuses deeper lengthening, stabilisation, balance and relaxation. Start your day with a class that will give you a sense of achievement along with helping sooth away existing stress.

Is this Class for me?

These classes are aimed at all levels with different options in each exercise for the lower level of fitness through to high level performers. The class is delivered by professional performers who have also been through rigorous teacher training to ensure both an energising class but one that is delivered in a safe and structured way.

What to Bring

All mats, props, and barres are provided, just bring water and your own mat if you wish and enjoy your class.

What to Wear

You’ll want to wear something comfortable that allows you to move, stretch and bend your body into numerous positions! Removable layers that can be taken off during your class are often useful. Ballet shoes, bare feet, or soft dance shoes are suitable for all classes.
