What is Barre Fitness?
Ballet barre fit is a low impact class that incorporates professional ballet inspired strengthening exercises to create a strong core, along with excellent stability and classical poise.
A mixed ability workout to tone and strengthen from head to toe. This class works deep into the muscles to tone and sculpt the body. In this class we will use the ballet barres, along with resistance bands, exercise balls and mats to provide a full ballet inspired workout. Within just a few classes you will experience noticeably improved posture, balance, and a lifted seat. The class works on high repetitions and low resistance, to improve muscular strength and overall tone. A flowing sequence of cleverly developed exercises, that leave you feeling stronger and leaner.
Is this Class for me?
These classes are aimed at all levels with different options in each exercise for the lower level of fitness through to high level performers. The class is delivered by professional performers who have also been through rigorous teacher training to ensure both an energising class but one that is delivered in a safe and structured way.
What to Bring
All mats, props, and barres are provided, just bring water and your own mat if you wish and enjoy your class.
What to Wear
You’ll want to wear something comfortable that allows you to move, stretch and bend your body into numerous positions! Removable layers that can be taken off during your class are often useful. Ballet shoes, bare feet, or soft dance shoes are suitable for all classes.
